Where I live now there are tons of mini brewers around Granville Island in Vancouver. I quit drinking some time ago, but I like an occasional brew with my supper.

Kokanee is a big brewer here right in BC.

I can't remeber any of the names of the local brewers as it's been so long, but this company used to make their own beer right in this little shop on Granville Island in this small ass shopping district. I went in there when I was 17 with my bro and my dad, and for $10 we got to sample a pint each of 6 different beers. The one I remeber is a Honey Lagar. Very light in color, a honey color actually, and tasted sweet. It was more of a dessert beer as drink a whole 6 or 12 pack of it. It had a fruity taste to it.

But yeah, I remeber that, but I usually I drank common beers. Molson, Budweiser, Heneiken, Brewhouse (Alberta brewer), Labatt, Rickards Red, Miller. Miller was one of my favs. It had little taste and was smooth. Rickards Red for example is a dark beer, and has a strong taste to it. I found I couldn't pound back a ton of those, but the lighter beers like Henieken and Miller I could pound back.

And I never drank light beer, like Coors. Come on, that's a chick beer.
