Doing a project for Media - 9/11 being Bush's Reichstag Fire So, for my practical project for Media we are allowed to either do coursework on: Advertising and Marketing Film and Genre Documentary The thing I love about this, is that we are allowed to choose ANY field we want for any of the topics. I chose documentary, and I was thinking about doing a project on Muslims/Islam and how it is being singled out in todays society following 9/11 and 7/7. BUT, I changed my mind. Here my take on Muslims.

I dont think i can use the word hate for them, but i dont trust them, and its all of them.

I hear where your comin' from on this but we CAN'T judge an entire culture by the doings of a few assholes. We have immigration problems here in the U.S. with people coming in illegally from Mexico. There is also alot of crime which is related to these folk, MS13 is a good example. Jobs being sold out to lower wage employees, etc...........

But fact is there are MANY fine people of latin origins also here in the U.S. that lead productive lives and are excellent members of the community.

Look at it this way once.........a man gets hauled in by the cops for murder and the find an ounce of bud on him. THIS is definately on the news and kind of insinuates that pot smokers are crazy killers. WE know different, but there are a few crazy asses out there that create that type of stereotype on us.
REMEMBER REFER MADNESS! Lets not make this into Islam Madness.

OK, so they havent publicly stated this... yet... but, they have brainwashed the majority of the Western World into thinking this. Muslims attacked us on 9/11 and 7/7. Each month I see at least one story in a newspaper or on TV about either foiled terrorist plots, a terrorist facing trial, or something else related to terror/muslims. As we all know, the government controls the media (and if you dont, I have been taught this by all three of my Media tutors). By doing all this, Bush and Blair HAVE drilled it into our heads that the Islamic religion and all Muslims are evil. When you walk down the street, how do you differentiate between a harmless, charity donating, law-abiding muslim and the extremist? You cant, until you see a coloured person shout 'Allah Akhbar' and you know that the shit has hit the proverbial fan.

Media may or may not be controlled by the gov. in the U.K. but it isn't here in the states. How many papers have been shut down in your country like what happens in countries like Iran and N. Korea? Our media may swing to the left or the right but you'll also see reports about gov. officials that would NEVER be tolorated in the above countries mentioned. A government controlled media would NEVER allow this type of journalism to happen.

There are extremists with this type of view but by making these type of baseless accusations arent' you basically doing the same thing?

You can't tell the difference.........and likewise when I see a group of teens walking with their pants hangin' off their asses I don't know if their bangers or not either. You can either live your life thinking that either gang bangers, or Muslim extremists, or that the government is out to get ya; or you can chill down and assume the best of people untill proven different.

Comparing Bush and Blair to Hitler though is really a stretch. Blair has announced that he will be stepping down and Bush is over in "08".......where's the comparison in that? What group of people is being rounded up and shipped in train cars in either country?

No, the point im trying to make, is THEY, the ILLEGAL immigrants, are comming to our country, taking our jobs, using our health care, funded by our TAX money and how do they repay us? They go blowing holes in our country.

The point im making? Immigrants should not be allowed in. Simple as that.

They take our work, and when we need it we cant get it, why? Because an immigrant has got it, and they shouldnt even BE here.

Actually, most of the July 7th bombers (except the Jamaican one) were born right here in the UK making them British.

I know a lot of immigrants in my area, many are "illegal". Some of them are my friends. They are so desperate for jobs, that they were prepared to die in the long journey to get here. They are paid low wages, and exploited, doing the jobs that nobody else seemed to want. They didn't steal any fucking jobs. They just work hard, and send some of the money they make back home to their families. They also pay tax. I therefore have nothing but respect for them. If a few of them start fucking around, I don't judge all immigrants by the actions of a few.
