Hallows is an old word for saints.

Nov. 1st is all saints day.

Halloween = All Saints Day Eve!

Like all Christian traditions Halloween is a mixture a pagan ritual and Christian theology. That would also explain why it is celebrated on every continent on earth but only in Christian nations.

Besides, you've never heard of churches selling carving pumpkins as a fundraiser?

this year for halloween im thinking of lacing the candy with acid and switching it with other peoples cvandy in their bowls, you know, go house to house "trick or treat!" arent you a little old to be trick or treating? "gimme the fuckin candy bitch!" and i'll have a few of my special candies in my hand and when i go to grab some candy i'll drop them in there ninja style so they dont notice, and unwittingly give little kids lsd, of course, im gonna be on acid too

As a fan of heavy music and at one time a "practicing" Christian, I went to many of these type ordeals. A lot of the Christian music was much heavier than what the local hardcorde kids think they are rockin.

They usually take you through a few scenes showing some average kids hanging out (like ones that would probably be seeing the act) and then show them as they go out to prom, have a few drinks, then on the way home, there is a horrible car wreck. Then next room would be set up like an ER room where a person in the car is dying. Next room you are in Heaven at the gates, a few peoples named are "found in the book" and the others are sent to the "hell room."

Most work like that I have been two with different scenarios played out. They aren't really supposed to be a "horror house." Christians aren't typically supposed to be celebrating Halloween and for the ones that don't, this gives them something to do on Halloween like everyone else is doing.

How the fuck arn't they attacking people/things with these stupid shows? They obviously attack Heavy Metal, video games, Abortion supporters, homosexuals, pagans, and of course the fellow stoner in these shows.

It's the only damn religion that teaches you to try to spread your religion, and look down on those who arn't. I find it pathetic how everyone wants to defend such an ignorant, offensive religion.

And if I don't want to see what the Christians believe, I shouldn't go around them. Are you fucking kidding me? I'm in the US, and they're EVERYWHERE! You can't get away from them. They're morals, values and beliefs have been implemented into society as a whole. Whether it be at the workplace, grocery store, or even a school! You'll find collision when anyone hears the word "athiest", "Muslim", or "Pagan" come from anyones mouth. People are outcasted in this country, and most others, for the sole fact that they don't support christianity.
