well said. if possible, try a bagseed grow first, just to get the hang of growing.

if you are growing from seed, forget about the screen(pulling a male out that has become intertwined with the mesh and females could be aggravating)

to keep them low, just lst them every couple of days, you'll end up with a "hanging basket" looking plant with many many branches.

as for a strain 50 50, i do not know; i am growing blueberry and would recomend this strain to anyone (most excellent bud) but is a 80 20, with a super strong couch lock effect.

every one should try a bagseed grow, it is a perfect opportunity to experiment, and if you bungle it, you havent lost an exhorbant amount of money in exotic seeds.

for low growing, pick an indica dominant strain.(like blueberry!)

OK, Well the bag seeds I have were from some nasty ass brick type shit. It's only 20 buck to get some Northern Lights 5 X Haze so I'm going to go with that. Do you have a link on how to do the LST? I'm going to put them under the screen after I sex them but then again it will still bud but just have seeds with the male in there right, so I need more seed I might let nature take its course and let the female produce some seeds for me to have as a back up. Then start take the males out on my next grow, what do ya think?

I'd say first of all to not try to breed your plants, just try to grow one or two quality females. I'd also say to LST instead of use a screen, and if you LST you can grow one bigger plant in there instead of multiple smaller plants that may get too crowded. You can also do what I did, which is flower at two weeks (I actually flowered at 1.5 weeks), and let your plant grow normally without LSTing, and it shouldn't grow more than a couple feet. And later on you can tie it down so that it bends somewhat and makes use of the entire grow space, and the lower buds on the side facing the lights will grow bigger.

a cabinet that short pretty well limits you to growing either a Lowryder strain (I personally wouldn't waste time and electricity on that crap), or you will be flowering immature plants, in an effort to keep them short enough ... seriously, don't go less than 5-feet tall, in my opinion ... (my cabinets are always 7'-8' tall, although I only need about 5', the extra height helps the heat dissipate, and if one of my sativas stretches, no problem) ... good luck ... :smokin:
