"I'll believe it when I see it"
.............im not even going to delve into how hypocritical this statement is besides: you havent seen god yet you believe in him, you havent seen man on other planets, so you dont believe there is. i rest my case
as for the bible, you believe in the bible because the bible tells you that the bible is true..............
if i wrote a very lengthy book detailing how the worlds leaders are a bunch of giant hyper-intelligent grasshoppers and some where in that book i wrote "every word in this book is true" would you believe it? why not, the bible does basically the same thing yet you believe every word in that, why dont you believe in the grasshoppers? could you prove they werent grasshoppers? i rest my case

First of all, unlike some other gods I could mention, I can see the sun. It's there for me every day. And the things it brings me are quite apparent all the time: heat, light, food, a lovely day. There's no mystery, no one asks for money, I don't have to dress up, and there's no boring pageantry.
