In the afterlife there will be no need for the Sun. The Sun you worship will be destroyed. The Sun will pass but his word will be forever.

Everyone is always looking for proof that God exists but they choose to close their eyes to the things that are. Study the sun and you will learn more about God himself. But then again, most of you guys will say that the Sun just landed there by luck right?
No offense intended but your logic is extremely flawed.

The Earth revolves around the sun, we're in the 21st century, this is common knowledge now.

The people that wrote the bible believed that the sun revolved around the earth. Only heretics believed that the earth was round and revolved around the sun, its pretty funny how the heretics ended up being right.

There is life on earth and no other planet in our solar system because of the way earth is situated in the sun's gravitational pull. It has nothing to do with luck. This planet was suitable for life and over billions of years microscopic organisms evolved into what we see here today.

To MastaChronic: I've always believed that the sun was a more logical thing to worship than any sort of god.
