How bout we arrange a get-together in Amsterdam, for sometime in summer 2008! i know its a long ways off but it would give people a chance to save up as we would all have to make our own way there and such. dude the reason we said 2008 is so EVERYONE will have plenty time to save and arrange time off work (if you work).

Whats the point in having a cannabis.com get-together if half of us are on the other side of the world, that just adds to this "UK/USA split" that alot of people have been going on about lately, the point of this is to bring us ALL together.

How long you all planning, a week? Whats accomodations like in Ams? Airfare is easily 1,000 USD right now. I dont know how many americans you'd really get to come over. A typical 2 week vacation, in the states for me costs over 2,000. Realistically one would need to budget $100-150 a day.

Im just saying 2k-4k is alot of money for most peopke, even to save up for the next year. Thats enuff to put new windows throughout my house.

Like i said, the whole point is to get everyone together, not just UK/Europe peeps on one side of the world and USA peeps on the other, that wouldn't be as much fun!

But if you think you can't make it, then speak for yourself, not for others, i'm sure theres plenty of people who will actually make the effort to try and make this happen, and hey like someone else already said, if i had the money, i'd pay for your ticket and accomodation myself, but unfortunatly... i'm not that rich, it'll be just as hard for me to save up for it as anyone else (what with me being jobless atm). But i'm atleast willing to try, plus i wanna go other places besides Amsterdam, this get-together isn't the only trip i have in mind so your not the only one with money issues

so what we get cheaper flights from the UK, the accomodation will cost the same as it will for you, and i don't think UK ppl get discount on weed

yeah, I've been sending it to as many people as possible. Fucking rank ass pigs trying to pull in money for arrests instead of enforcing actual justice and legal rights.

Anyways, a 2 year period should be enough for people to put aside 2-3k, and it's well worth it for a trip to amsterdam. Shit, I bet we'd make it onto hightimes news or heads magazine some shit.

As long as we have enough people being serious about it, it can seriously happen.

And 2 years to put asside 2-3k? I only make $9.50 an hour, and I managed to save up enough for a trip to Greece this year. In about 8 months I saved up $3,500.00.. So 2 years is more than enough time if people get serious about it

I think April would be a good time to go. It's not as crowded as the later months will be. And yeah, we definately need nametags with our forum names on them haha
