First Grow . . . slowly dying
First I would like to thank all the members who do so much work for these boards. I have spent the last month just browsing through journals and FAQs and I have learned a lot.
However, there are some problems with these plants that I am not sure how to diagnose. I think they have nute burn or a mg deficiency or something. The plants are wilting, have leaves curling downward, rust colored spots along the leaves, and generally look sickly.
There are 3 plants in rock wool burried in potting soil. The plants stretched severely because for the first 3 weeks they were grown with light from one florescent tube. Light is now from a 600 HPS. They are 5 weeks old. I flushed them with about 2 gallons of water over about 2 days ago.Caligreen Reviewed by Caligreen on . I also switched the plants from one floro tube directly to a 600 watt hps, could they be in shock?

Hi Cali..
The good news is.. all you need to do is transplant them into a larger container .. use a quality SOIL and mix in perlite...
The bad news is.. your plants might get shocked(fucked) during the transplant..
The roots have probably intertwined and you will not beable to seprate the plants.. becarefull when you move them.. This may be a fragile operation..
iloveyou
are you PH ing your water?
cheers

Thanks for the suggestion, I appreciate it. Someone also said that there is a mag deficiency that I should treat with epsom salts... Anyway, the transplanting is inevitable I guess. A 2.5 gallon pot per plant should work?

Does look like a mg deficency also.I would check your water run off after you flush and make sure its the same as the water your pouring in,if not pulverized lime works wonders to stabilize the ph.Then foliar spray with epson salt water...do you ph your water and what is it?

hard to tell with those pics, but if the container is as short as it appears, they are probably rootbound ... :smokin:
