    SCROG question

Ok..I have read a lot about SCROG method and can never find consistent information..My plant grows up to the screen and bends at a 90 degree angle and runs for about 8 more inches horizontally under the screen...at the internodes new shoots are growing up through the screen at about 2 to 4 inches tall...should these shoots also be tucked under the screen and allowed to "run" like the main stem....if so, what part of the plant is eventually allowed to grow up to the light...I assume it is the flowering bud that is given this privelege...any other info on SCROG would be appreciated....pics of SCROG show buds growing up to the light that are 8-12 inches tall and in the hundreds...will this be my case if I am growing Northen lights under a 250watt hps using a hydro system pumping nutrients?

    SCROG question

Well its been awhile since Ive been on this site and I think now..w/ this question, Im comin back. The scrog is the shit. I will always grow w/ a scrog or sog from now on.

To answer your question, The biggest part is constantly training the man stem further and further away as they strech. Then you take those node growths and train them up into the screen. The main point is to keep the canopy even. You do this by keeping the "main" bud sites even the internode growth bud sites. But, You also want to cut the undergrowth and weak node bud sites to let the larger ones thrive. If you do this right, about 2-3 wks into flower you will have a perfect even canopy w/ all the buds at a even size.

    SCROG question

The idea of the screen is to stick just the flower through the screen and fill the screen with just flowers and the rest of the plant is below wrapping around and around.

Of some grows once you get the timing right you get one plant and many branches and then you just poke the flowers at the end of the branches through.

    SCROG question

train all the branches under the screen until you start to flower. Basically you are trying to time it so that all the buds get to be the same height at the same time. Even use of your lighting. I usually trained for a week into flower and then backed off and let them do thier thing.
