It took me a while to realize how the world worked. It didn't hit me all at once. It was a gradual thing. Through getting picked on for being foreign in high school, to getting jumped by 3 guys when I first moved here and crushing my face in (literally) to working jobs, meeting people, and the news and newspaper.

I really started to look at the world in a strange way when the Columbine shootings happened. I still remeber seeing that one kid covered in blood crawling outside of the library window on TV. For some reason, even in another country, I almost saw the grim future of what I may have become when I went through high school, then I realized I wasn't the only one going through that kind of mess.

It was when I entered the workforce though when I really saw what people were really like. Customers and bosses.
