And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so.
And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good.

Keep it mind that the warm (2700k) bulbs are recommended for the flowering stage. There are plenty of growers that use warm bulbs for their entire grow but most people use the "cooler" (6500k) for veg which allows them to keep the light even closer to the plants.
It really helps to keep the plant shorter in the long run. Good Luck

Correct, they will NOT work in the USA. You need 120v bulbs. Check out this website:
    http://www.1000bulbs.com/products.ph...ct-Fluorescent

    They have 105w CFL's starting at $18.99

Just bought a couple of those from 1000bulbs.com, the 4100k version. Took about a week to get here, just came today. They're big! They look like an oversized caricature of a small CFL. They didn't have anything warmer at 1000bulbs.com (in that 105watt size), or I'd have gotten that. I'll see how 4100k does for flower. I also have like eight smaller 2700k 26-30w CFLs in the same closet, so it should be okay I think. They do fit in normal sockets, but make sure you use sockets rated for 150 watts; wouldn't want to see anyone's home burn down. Been there, done that.

I know what you mean Jam, I just got 3 of the 150w and they are huge! Like 5" in diameter. I have to rig something to my reflectors to keep them from dangling they are so big & heavy.

I probably could have gotten away with the 105's but wanted to have mad light on them for flowering. Plus the 150's are 2700k, a little better spectrum I think.

cool.. can you start a thread or post some pictures of your grow.. I would like to see how those bulbs work out.. I think you could grow a FREAKING monster plant if you surrounded it with 4 of those bulbs and flowered it at (6-10 nodes)10 inches tall..

    congrats on the new LIGHTS!!!
