    rookie at growing

Hey, we need some info here and we're still rookies. We planted on July 10, buds appeared about mid August and we just brought them inside. The bud "hairs" are all white and we can't see much amber at all on them but there are plenty white crystals on the buds and bud leaves. We're afraid of harvesting too soon or get the job done to late. When can these be harvested? Thanks!

it's the 'crystals' that will indicate when its ready, not the 'hairs' ... when the 'crystals' are ALL cloudy, except for just a few 'amber' ones, it's ready ... you WILL need a fairly powerful magnifying glass ... 30X works nicely ... Radio Shack has a 3-in-one magnifying glass (you can use 2 or 3 to get the view you want ... I don't much care for their 'pocket microscope', but some prefer it ... :smokin:

take some advice from one who's seen a lot. first thing you need to remember when you start a growroom is simply this....keep your mouth shut ....period..don't get so proud of your new toy that you forget that any other set of eyes other than your own are connected to a set of lips....
