Hey, I need some help. Our girls have had buds now for about 8 weeks, although they don't seem to be showing much amber. They do have a lot of white crystals on the bud leaves. We planted them July 10th outside and moved them inside for the past few weeks. We're afraid to harvest them if they aren't done or are too early, we can't tell as this is our first time at this hobby. Any info will help these rookies out. Thanks.

So when do I harvest?

harvest when about 50% of the trics. are amber and the other 50% are milky white . patience is a virtue . you can get a 30x or 100x pocket microscope at radio shack for dirt cheap and a very worthwhile investment .

hmm it snowed and the plants are still alive? awsome. as for when to harvest its up to you. do you like to get a stoned couch lock high or a cerebral mind high. If you like cerebral highs harvest when most of the trics are milky white if you want a really stoned high go for 60-80 percent amber trics. or if you want a combination go for 50-50 the more you grow and smoke the more you will learn what you like better. gl man.
