Root problem
The plant itself looks ok, with the exception of the droop. I would think that the root mass would be bigger. I've flushed the rockwool the other day, mabe that'll help. I've been told in the past that you should leave the paper on the outside of the cube. That will allow the roots to grow down instead of coming out all over the basket. I can't say for sure.....
I'm using a fill/drain system 3.3 gal. res. Only have 1 plant. Much easier on the maintance of the system. I have a 10 gal set up but what a pain in the ass when it comes to drain, cleaning, etc...
Currently, I'm using 24 hr. light cycle during veg. I've heard both schools of thought as to use 18/6 or what ever, I guess until a 24 light cycle causes any problems why change, besides it makes things alittle easier over all.
I feed 5 times for 2 min. during the 24 hrs. People have said that the droopiness is over watering! What do you think? By looking at the over all plant, it looks pretty good. It appears to droop only towards the bottom.
Today I started adding Super Oxy H2o2 35% Hydrogen Peroxide Aqueous Solution to add more oxygen to my roots. Will see. Anyway, if you got any more questions, bring'em on. Got alittle long winded...Baffled and confused Reviewed by Baffled and confused on . Root problem My plant looks ok on top, but I feel that I have a root problem. A few days ago I flushed the roots. Last night I used Nutrilife SM-90. As you can see from 1 of my pics that it looks as though there is a mass of white roots in the center. I dont know how can the plant itself look decent and the roots look the way they do? I've heard of a term call "root bound", but from what I can find that's not supposed to happen growing hydroponicly. Also, I need help with top of the rockwool. Is that Rating: 5
