    OregonsDank MMJ log!

Well I decided to start a journal to help make sure my first crop comes out good!

This is a legal grow so I can only bud 6 plants at a time.

I used 3 gallon pots, with sunshine mix #4, maxicrop soluble seaweed powder, and Peace of mind organic powered fert with mycorrhiza and humic acid.

In each pot I mixed the bottom lair with 1/4 teaspoon dry seaweed and 1.5 teaspoons of foxfarm. Top lair is 1.5 teaspoons of fox farm and no seaweed.

Used 2 inches of hydro rocks at the bottom of pots for drainage, few ontop of pots so wind and water dont mess up soil, and well they look neat!

Here are some pics of my first days growing, started with clones on 9/30 well rooted clones, not as well as they could have been though

    pic 1 is superskunk , pic 2 is nl/bb , pic 3 is snowbud (aka Akorn )

    15 days later

Does everything look ok? Suggestions, hints, comments? Sorry used my cell phone for pics

The other 3 I dont show here are pretty much represented by the 2 good ones I show, they are a bit smaller but growing fast.

Snowbud - Sucking up alot of water, dense nodes, stinky! Everything looks healthy! 1/4 inch stem @@

Superskunk - Some of the leaves are coming out twisted, healthy but some grow like sideways... 3 big branches and a top for its height is this ok?

Nl/BB - Oh gosh what is wrong with this baby It just will not take off, all the new growth are long thing branches, very weak but healthy looking just not strong. Anything I need to change?

Ph is 6.8 - 7.0 on all my soil in the pots, dry ferts are mixed into the soil.

Ohhh, when branches are formed and they produce a cresent moon shaped, shiny, bubbly growth where the branch is connected what is this for? I assume strength but is it a sign plant is going to be heavy, or that it isnt getting a certain fert? Hard to see them in these pictures, not all branches have them only 30%

All in all , everything growing real strong , and dense just like I was hoping - I have them 25 inches from lights still but could get them 12 or 15 inches closer without heat issues. In the pictures they are out of the " grow " room since my camera gets blinded in there lol...

    Pic 1 and 2, Superskunk day 18 , Pic 3 and 4 Nl/BB day 18 Pic 5 and 6, Snowbud Day 18

plants are a little sleepy , lights about to go out - they seem to not be as perky the hour or 2 before lights out! on 18/6 now.

    This is my snowbud.

Hard to see branches in these pictures but the trunk on my snowbud is almost 1/4 inch.. while the plant is only 5inches tall..

Snowbud has 9 branches and 3 or 4 baby nodes, is 6 inches tall and 11 inches wide on 10/15

Superskunk has 7 branches, and 2 or 3 baby nodes, is 4.75 inches tall and is 8 inches wide

The runt, Nl/bb has 4 branches forming is 4.75 inches tall and 7.25 inches wide.

Can anyone help me with my NL/BB

out of my 6 plants this is the only really sad... looking one.. but im doing everything the same with it, watching it very close.

Ps, I had a friend with a lady bug infestation in her house so I gathered like 75 of them. Put them in my room - they groomed my plants for 2 days and all have died / dissapeared now lol.. I guess that means they didnt have any food to eat yay bug free garden!

Yes, with the lady bugs, if they have no food, they will die off. With the NLxBB, I would just keep babying it, I have had a few mutants that turned out to be the best in the bunch. Keep up the good work.
If you don't mind, what is your medical reason for growing?
    Adieu

What is your humidity? If your still in veg, I would think about doing a little misting with a spray bottle and PH'd water and a foliar aditive , some of the nutes you have may be foliar sprays/addatives.

    55 - 65% humidity, they are about 12 inches from a 1000 watt MH , temps are 70 lights out , 75 lights on.

I get migraine 6-10 times a year, mmj makes it possible to eat, sleep, and numbs down the pain enough I can somewhat function.

I am sorry for not getting back to you, I had a garden problem last night, had to cut down a hole crop do to catching a late hermy last month that ended up polanating all of my ladies. Oh well, press on.
That is something about your headaches, I have a symtom called cluster headaches, not sure if they developed from an old gun shot woond, but they have been known to drive people to kill their selves because they can get so bad. Luckley I haven't had one for about a year or more, they come and go.
With the misting, if you are worried about burning them, then just try it on one and see how it responds, I do it to all of mine, but I live in a cold climate with low humitity. They seem to love it.
Like I said, don't give up on the mutants, at least that is my two cents.
    Adieu
