I laugh when kids think that something on their record will just dissapear after a while. It's there for life man, and if you really did get charged, anymore cannabis charges in the future, that old record will be there and you will get the book thrown at you.

Someone who stays on proabtion for 2 years with the charge of culivating cannabis, is not something that will be set ablaze, as what suhl said.
