The problem is you people are to ignorant to even know what you are talking about.

DID YOU PEOPLE EVER THINK BY LAW THEY HAD TO HIRE HER BACK.......?

I would take a job they offer you and go look for a new job, Cause it is easier to get a job when you have a job, cause you dont seam desperate.
actually yes, read my posts you will see i said many times she might have the right to take her job back under having a leave of absense due to pregnancy, but that's not the way nochowder makes this all sounds, to me it sounds like she quit, just plain out quit, which means she gave up the job, and has no right to come back and take the job back, regaurdless of the circumstances of her life.

as i said, if she took the leave, she has every right to come back and if the employer didn't warn of this first then, he is responsible. no where does chowder mention the boss mentioning the job is only temp. until the original worker comes back.

I just moved to Vancouver and have been working this job at a kitchen just downstairs from my place. I get a call last night at 9pm, I was in the shower, so he left me a message. He said, "uhhh, sorry to do this over the phone, but we had a pregnant girl leave here in June and she now wants her old job back" Now, the job is MY job, MY hours, so she wants MY job back..."we can offer you a nighttime Rating: 5
