The existence to believe in a god or gods, is a choice. It has nothing to do if It or They actually do exist.

I believe that what ever started existence, did so, and has been "hands off", since then. It explains away the thought of, "If God existed, there wouldn't be all this suffering."

God/the Gods created... nothing more, nothing less.

I came from my parents. They came from theirs, and they came from theirs, etc. This chain of creation cannot go back in time/evolution forever. There has to be a point, where you come to a being that is outside of time and space, and therefore, did not need to be created by anything. That being is God, or whatever term you want to use for It.

It cannot create a being or thing as perfect as itself, or it would just be creating a copy of itself. It had to create a universe with flaws, so that it could be differentiated from God, itself. That's why children sometimes get cancer, and assholes sometimes live long and fruitful lives. There is no such thing as a "miracle". A miracle would infer that God interfered, in some way, with the natural course of the existence it created, and would show favoritism, which in my opinion, showing favoritism is not a trait of a perfect being.

God gave Free Will to man, but I find that to be a very arrogant and short-sighted phrase. I believe God created Free Will for the Universe. It created a "thing", (the Universe), with a very special purpose. It created the Universe, to give birth to randomness. That's not to say there isn't order, though. But just like Good needs Evil, so that it can be defined, Order needs Randomness, to be able to be seen and defined.
