OK, here goes:

Strain: Granddaddy Purple (AKA Purple Erkal). Organically grown medical.

Source: "Legal" San Francisco Medical Marijuana Supplier

Price: $210 for 1/2oz. I've smoked a lot of weed and can honestly say this high price is worth it.

Smell: Spicy and Piney, not skunky at all. Actually really pleasant scent, like some kind of candle or something.

Taste: very herbal and spicy when vaped, tastes like it smells. Tastes a lot like hash when smoked.

Smokes: . Smokes very smooth, not harsh at all. Not what you'd expect from something so covered in trichs, probably due to being organically grown.

Extremely, extremely potent. This is one of the purples that lives up to the hype. You feel this one as soon as you exhale your first hit but just wait a few minutes for the full effect to creep up. Very heavy indica body stone, narcotic almost like opium. Great for pain relief. Unlike a lot of indicas though, this one gives you a serious mind fuck. Think of something like Manatuska Thunderfuck combined with a strong indica. It'll put you on the couch with crazy thoughts running through your head. I'm sure this would get a lot of "holy shit, this stuff must be laced with something" type of comments.

its sort of interesting, i heard someone say that godbud is comparable to purple erkle, and than when you described it in your smoke report I would have to agree. I have some godbud right now and would say the high you described is almost right on. I get the "no feeling your legs" going and than a heavy build up of pressure in the head. I really need to try some purple erkle though, i've heard of it coming around here from cali but always missed it.
