If you started a plant for next season now...

And vegged it indoors in like a 20 gallon pot then transplanted it into the ground in the spring, how big could you actually grow a plant not limited by time?

hey ive seen plants that were only started at the end of spring and grew to be 12 foot tall by autumn, but then again my friend started a plant in the winter and grew it right the way thru till autumn and hes got a short wide bush, (thats just cuz one was sativa and the other was indica) as long as you grow it right, which im sure your capable of doing, the more time it has the more weed youll get, its that simple, ive got a few little plants to keep thru winter and im gonna top one of them just as spring sets in, that way i can top it or tie it and still have a whole summer of fully blown growth, as long as youve got space inside, its worth a try....

The biggest plant I've ever seen was in some pics from this guy who grew a plant in a field near his home. He posted about it on overgrow.com a year or two ago, when that site was still around. What happened was, it got huge, and he couldn't bear to kill it. So he built a structure around it and kept it alive through the winter, ran electricity there and kept it heated and lit, and it ultimately ended up more than 16 feet tall, a virtual tree. He got busted eventually because of this suspiciously odd-looking two-story structure sitting in a field with the tree in it. A crying shame he didn't get to harvest it.
