LOL. I love this thread, but your so right.... It's like i used to work on an ice cream boat in Norfolk with a mate, Adrian and the amount of people who ask "What do you sell?" And "Do you have REAL ice cream." ... bearing in mind this is a red boat, with a massive cornet on the front and bloody signs over it saying "Dairyland Ice cream"

I used to work in a computer store. Really hated the morons that would come in to buy stuff, basically 90% of them come in not knowing what they want to buy. One of my favorite things to tell idiots that would come in that need "a thing for the back of the thing" would be, yeah they are right over there by the things. People would flip out when I would say this, but i mean, cmon, your the dumb ass that jsut asked me for a thing for your thing, idiots.

Another customer started really making me angry one day, so I got him reall worked up untill the point he asked to speak with a manager, so i went and told my manager, dude can you come deal with this drunk guy.. People ended up storming out of the store after my boss talked to em

I worked on a customer service desk at B&Q for a year....I quite enjoyed the job
But somtimes it was exactly like what you said...people flip at you for things you have no control over.

I still work in retail but it's alot different. More relaxed. But you still get the odd pissed off customer....but fuck them....they have their stress and it has no impact on my life whatsoever. I still leave at the end of the day happy.

I'm glad I never got into retail except for the odd job here and here, would rather advance my skills in something I want to do than face that kind of shit daily.
