Try smoking the patch. Or do what Hub did and start chewing natural licorice or some shit, i wouldnt recommend gum or the patch, but rather cold turkey, because thats a lot of money to slowly ween yourself off of something you can be done with in three days of cold suffering. You'll be fine. Good luck.

Yea, take the patch, roll it up, and light that sh*t! LOL. But seriously, good luck on quitting.

Good luck Dankmike! I'd go for the patches, the gum tastes like ass! I'm on the patches at the mo, have been for about 10 days now and haven't smoked a cig yet! Beware though you will have the shits for a few days, just your body withdrawing from all the other nasty chemicals in cigs. Oh and your arm will ache like you've been working out or like just after an injection. But all that stops after a few days! Good luck bro!

i think im just gonna chew normal sugarfree gum and use the patch.
the patch for the cravings and the gum for the oral fixation.
but hey you all are cool people.
thanks for the advice.

I read Allen Carrs book - did nothing for me.
Tried patches, did nothing for me. Tried gum, really really really NASTY!
My dad gave up a 30 year smoking career using patches though... he used them until he thought "what the fuck am I doing sticking this thing on my arm" and then gave up. He said as long as you want to and make it through the two or three shitty days you'll be fine. He says he still could smoke and sometimes feels like a smoke, but stays away because otherwise he thinks he'll get back in to the swing of it again.
I personally think patches/gum etc make you believe in the addiction even more. I dont think I'm addicted, I just dont have much to do, so I smoke
