We have all been told the dangers of sex and how a condom will help reduce preganancy risk and Std's to a certain extent. I assume or at least hope that you are using them if you are sleeping around or just in highschool. Anyway, I have been with my girlfriend for 1 year 4 months hand stopped using condoms about 3 months into our relationship because she got on the pill. Honestly sex without a condom feels way better
but carring a child for 9 months seems a bit painful

It really depends on the specific types of pseudo-estrogen and progetin and the levels of them, when it comes to making you moody. the pill made me really moody too but so far the ring has been much better (i have been on it for 6mnts now). There aren't any other side effects tho- they're all similar to the pill. Oh, and my doctor told me that the ring is supposed to raise up your sex drive a bit too- something about the way the hormones are taken (oral vs skin).

the pill doesnt always work either (but its probably only ineffective when people dont use it properly), I work with a girl who is 24 and has a 3 year old...she had been on the pill for a couple years when she got pregnant.

Its hard to go from no condom to condom, definately not anywhere near as good, but its important to use them in most situations.

Yes and make sure you wear the condom at all times. I made the mistake of having sex without the condom and then using it. Now I am with a man I wanna be with forever and not to long ago I find out I have HPV. Just cause I didn't use the condom part of that time now my man has to live with my mistake. The wierd thing about HPV is you can have it for years and never know you have it and over half of men and women in the world have HPV or some other form of a STD. So think of this next time you have random sex this person I barley even know might have an STD and even if I use this condom I am not 100% protected. Even while using the condom you are at risk for HPV or another STD. Just some Knowledge.
