Vegetative pruning...snip the baby..whatever...
Ok, not sure how to phrase this (and yes I did do a search - just didn't find anything informative).
Anyway, my question has to do with newborns - specifically the issue of snipping seedlings in order to get them to divide. I was told that you should wait until after the 3rd set of branches have formed before snipping. But now I just heard from a friend that he never does that and just lets the plant grow as it would in the wild.
My question is if I intend to give the ScroG method a shot, at what point should I snip the little buggers, or should I not snip at all and just make sure it all stays under the screen?

depends ... some strains like 'topping', more than others ... my Northern Lights love it, but the White Widow and Killa Queen seedlings I am presently growing, may not get the knife, I will wait it out awhile, see what they branch like ... :smokin:
