When I started on this I had only a box 5'x5'x5' and 4 - 48" TL hoods, I lined it with Mylar, added more plastic for light and thermal insulation, Hunk my 125W CF (6500k) with a reflector (dimpled), installed slyvania tubes (2 @ 3500k - 6 @ 6400K), then I installed 2 - 27W (3300k) CF's in round reflectors (polished spot light type), and finally added a humidifier and an exhaust fan. I also house my germinating tray in this box. This is my vegitative growth box. By my math this adds up to 38,000 lumens, the big CF is 14,500, 8 TL @ 2,500, 2 small CF @ 1,700. The box runs at 23.9c to 26.7c, and 65-70% humidity.

Here is a picture of my setup, it cost $310 (USD) not including the lumber.

I'm sorry to inform you all that I am no kid (I'm 25), and I live with my Wife(and I rent). Mylar is some super reflective plastic sheeting for grow rooms.
