When you think they have stopped growing, wait another week. Then chop. Seems to work good for me. Also, if they have been budding for six weeks, that is the time the quickest indica's will finish. Usually they are more close to 8, so probably 7 would be safe. But like other's suggested, the microscope way is the most scienfific and will give you the most accurate results. Good luck and post some pic's!

Tom Green Thumb Reviewed by Tom Green Thumb on . Status of my plant So my first plant is getting very close to harvest time, but I'm not really sure how close. About forty percent of the pistils are turning red, and I think that maybe thirty percent of the trichomes are cloudy, but I'm not totally sure. The buds are giving off a very sweet fragrance, and they are swelling nicely. My plant was flowered at 1.5 weeks, grown from seed, and has been flowering for a good six weeks. So any thoughts on how long I have left? And do all blooming cannabis plants smell so Rating: 5
