    Magnesium and Calcium

    Yah i just bought some bat guano and was wondering what are some other good natural stuff i can buy or put in to the soil. Atleast for good magnesium and calcium. I'm in vegetative stage if that helps. also was wondering what is good to put during flowering. thanks a lot.

    I use egg shells in my soil. They provide calcium as well as other minerals. You can also use the water that you boiled eggs in too but I have personally never tried this. For magnesium, I use epson salts. During flowering I use more bone meal which is high in phosphorus.

    Dolemite lime is a good soil amendment that not only acts as a pH buffer, but provides magnesium & calcium. Cheap too, 4 dollar box was enough for 25 gallons of soil we made :rasta:

    another vote for Dolomite Lime
    If you can find a product called Sul-po-mag, It's sulphur potassium and magnesium.

    There is another called Greenplus...do a google search on it.

    Is regular Agriculture Lime the same as Dolomite? I got a pound of fine Aglime from Bedford, IN limestone quarry.
