wanting to start a commercial grow, advice please!

I'm in college and have about 30k to my name and manage to put away about 800/month. I made a friend that has a house and not a lot of money....since she has 3 kids and makes 12$/hr. Since I need money and she lives paycheck to paycheck..i proposed the idea of a weed grow that could make more than our shitty jobs. Id like to start with 2000 watts...the thing is- i know losers that sell ounces, but no dealers that could drop $16000 on 2000 grams of weed or something. Where the hell can you find people that are real movers? I'm not the cops and i'm not really looking for connections online. I have the grow know-how but i need some knowledge of the business if i want to get this off the ground. I'm just stumped on where to go for connections.

i agree, if you dont have connections that have connections i dont know what to tell you other than i wouldnt go looking for them.. cause 1 you will prob run into a cop looking to make a bust on someone lookin to get rid of some weed, and 2 you will prob get robbed, and 3 if you have 30k saved up i suggest buying a house or something and using a spare room as a grow room..

Yeah, a bit dodgy with kids in the picture. Otherwise, if I was desperate and wanted to do it anyway, I'd probably do a big harvest and bury or chuck away all the evidence, lamps, equipment somewhere, before starting to go through contacts looking to make a deal. And don't have anything at home at all, just in case you end up trying to deal with a cop.

I figured I could work on contacts since i dont live in the potential grow house..and leave the wherabouts a mystery.

I wouldn't have anything going if I was looking for contacts personally...

I'd have it all dug into the groúnd somewhere.

If you produce excellent bone dry primo it is as good as money. The only thing is there is a real danger of being robbed or cheated. When people find out you don't have anyone backing you, your easy pickings. What are you going to do, call the cops?

I think your best bet if you are really wanting to play the game is to start selling. Buy yourself a pound or two of killer pot for a decent price and go from there. You can buy in bulk and probably under-cut all the little dealers in your area with that type of money. When people find out you have good stuff and are consistant you can start making connections. To have it consistantly is the main rule for success. Then you can start growing after you know what is going on and who is who.

It all sounds possible, but if you have not lived that type of lifestyle it is very hard to get into. Not to mention dangerous. I have lived this lifestyle for years and know many people so that I don't have many problems, but still I have been robbed three times already. Imagine not knowing anyone? Just my 2 cents.

even if you had connections and knew dealers that would by 3-4 lbs from you at once, dont think anyone is going to touch it at that price.
