Hi i have a question. I made green dragon (or i hope i did) by basically boiling gin and about a gram of weed (i think it was about 2 oz of gin) for 20 mins on the stove. I just wanted to know if i should put the weed in the bottle where i have the green dragon juice and now a little doctor pepper. Also if i drank this after eating a lot would it have any affect at all? And how long does this take to reach the full affects? Thanks you guys are geniouses(sp):thumbsup:

The way I see it you don't have to heat the gin, dangerous because of risk of fire and alcohal has a much lowwer boiling point than water thus you are actually boiling off the thing you need to draw out the thc. You should only have two put your weed in the bottle and wait a week or two. this should give you the desired effect.

yea so i did that but saved the weed, tried it, and it had no affect on me. I am just going to go straight up and put the weed in 2 oz of gin and have it wait in there for a couple weeks and then have crunk juice.

boiling gin and weed prolly isn't going to get you the result you want

Gin doesn't have enuff alcohol and you skipped decarbolizing the weed to convert the THCA to THC.

ok...yea i used some online thing... but i tried again (am trying) and i forgot to bake the weed for a couple minutes in the oven. I just popped the weed into a water bottle full of 94 proof alcohol and am letting it sit in there for a couple weeks. will this give the desired result, even though i didnt convert thca to THC?

It will work with time BUT the potency will not be close to what u want. If I were u I would stain out the weed and just smoke it and start over with Master Wu's recipe.

When u smoke pot the fire converts the THCA to THC. This is why when u cook with Ganja u have to simmer the ganja to convert it.

You can make a traditional tincture (a tincture is an alcoholic extract which is what Green Dragon is. A tincture of Marijuana) without the conversion. BUT the conversion is key to potency and produces a much much better product much faster.

You can follow Master Wu's recipe and use it immediately. I have let it set for 30 days. Though the potency didn't seem to increase with the time. I did notice the remaining bud after 30 days was void of all thc. Now I use the left over green dragon weed for a resin catcher to use with my pinch hitter. Which makes resin much easier to store and collect when it's not sticky and coated with the green dragon leftover.

wow that post got me mega excited. i think im going to try master wu's way tomorrow. So if i just bake the weed then put it in the alcohol i will be set? wow im excited, thanks so much
