Got busted today.

So today I'm packing a bowl in my room - window open, fan blowing. I've done it a million times, always careful that my mom is out of the house for the necessary time, or somehow preoccupied.

I pack the second bowl, leave my room to come on my comp for a few minutes to check my bank account. As I'm walking towards my room, my mom is coming up the stairs. I quickly walk into my room, and shut the door behind me. instantly the door opens and my mom says ''It's so cold up here, is your window open? -- it smells like something in here. What is that?" She then forces her way past me (I'm a big kid obviously, I couldn't grab my mum), and see everything - weed, bubbler, lighters, open window with the fan etc..

I don't think she really caught on to what the bubbler was since it's quite small and wasn't in plain sight. Although she grabbed the weed the container was in, smelled it, and said ''I should tell your father right now''. Then later on she told me this is just a warning and not to do it again. Phew.

Won't be blazing for a couple days at least.

Yeah, your lucky she didn't make a huge deal like some people's parents would (hey i know a kid who wen't to rehab over that BS) just learn to be more discreet. I don't recommend smoking just cause you think your mom is "pre-occupied".

When I was 15, my mom busted me with an ounce of fire off a plant a friend of mine had grown. I didn't get into any trouble BUT she watched as she made me flush the whole, fresh sack down her toilet....I had only smoked ONE bowl out of it too!

Man you had your whole clandestine system down and everything. If it was summer she wouldn't have noticed cold air. It's easy to get used to all the little things that prevent you from getting caught and feel safe therein, but adaptation is necessary. If you smoke in your room again, blow your smoke through one of those filters made of a toilet paper rool with dryer sheets stuffed inside. It makes your room smell like fresh laundry. Just make sure to suffocate the runoff smoke from the bowl with your thumb before it enters the air. No open windows necessary.
