To get Mama Cat fixed. There all all too many unwanted kittens in the world. You have just added to the problem, even if you find homes for all the little darlings. I want you to add up how many potential kittens you have just created! Most litters are 5 or 6 kittens. (I'm using 6 because it is easier to divide). Half will be female. That's 3 females who will get pregnant at about 6 to 9 months of age. They have 18 kittens, 9 of which are female. Before the next year is out you have 13 (9 + 3 +1) females who will soon be ready to breed! What's 13 x 6? 84kittens- half of which will be females and breeding before the year is out! And next year gets far worse. Of course this doesn't happen usually. The kittens are run over, die of feline leukemia because they didn't get their shots, die of starvation after being lost or abandoned, mauled by stray (or just loose) dogs, and are "put to sleep" in shelters that are overcrowded. They die- usually unpleasantly. I practice what I preach. Both of my cats are neutered. I buy vaccines through drsfostersmith.com and save a lot of money by giving my pets their shots. (vet wanted $100 each- I paid about $25 for the two to get their shots) But yes, the kittens are cute and a joy to have. I have 2 neutered male cats who went to the vet last week. My husband picked them up when they were 3-4 weeks old since their mother (a half wild cat someone abandoned) had died. It was us or the pound. They are about 6 pounds each at age 5 months (they are going to BIG kitties!) and are a delight to have. They come running when they hear us set up the vaporizer- the little stoners! lol Get Mama Cat spayed, be a part of the solution! :thumbsup:

I am a very mushy person so I take in any stray that comes my way. I look at them and see how sad there eyes are and Im like "ahh come here baby let me take care of you" Then I ended up with 5 cats and 6 kittens dangling from our christmas tree playing rip open the gifts. It was a nightmare.
I went to a dairy farm found the owner and asked him if he wanted some cats to chase the mice away. He already had some "barn cats" but was more than happy to take alot of mine off my hands. I got my females fixed and I now have 4 cats. One inside and 3 outside.

Man chill, we were going to get her desexed but she ran off for like a week... ide thought she had been hit by a car or somethin then she came back and was pregnant.... we'll desex her when she can stop breast feeding the kittens. and yes we have found good homes for them all.... actualy i got homes for them before they were born and yes they will be desexed. all my cats so far have been desexed but we got this mama from the pound allready grown up and she got pregnant before we could desex her, simple :thumbsup:
