    Curing weed

Is it possible to cure weed after you have bought it? I do not grow but am interested in curing. Im gonna get an oz of some dank next week and am thinking about curing it to make it danker lol. I was wondering if this was even possible?

Please tell me if its possible and if you have done it. I figure it will definetly pay off in the long run.

Yes. Make sure its dry and seal it all up. Burp it, [Move it around and leave it open for about 30 mins to an hour. Do this every day for about a month.

DONT put it in wet, this will cause mold, but even if it IS dry keep checking for mold, cos it could fuck up a whole harvest, and no, you cant smoke moldy bud, its REALLY bad for you and i heard a story about some guy having to have some of his lung removed because of it.

Cant make it any more potent. Once its done growing, and picked (as your situation) you cant do anything to increase the potency. At least anything I'm aware of.. otherwise everyone would do this.

Actually, curing does affect potency. The purpose of curing is to break down cheicals such as chlorophyl. This what makes it taste planty. It also actrivates more THC, so cured bud compared to fresh bud is noticeably sronger.

ok I have been meaning to ask about curing for a while now, its the only area where I have no knowledge of, that im interested in.
I know this has been asked before but here seems appropriate..
    How do you cure? (method)
    When do you cure?
I know why people cure....just not how or when or how long.....but I assume you can for aslong as you want really.

Well you dry the buds out, so there is no moisture. Approx 10 - 14 days will do it perfectly. Then you seal it up making sure its not wet, otherwise you'll get mold.

Mason Jars are perfect. [glass jars]

You open the sealed container and move the bud about so it cures evenly. You keep the lid open for about and hour a day.

You cant do this for a month for a good enough cure, it'll come out goo, but the longer the better.

It REALLY does make a differnce to fresh bud off a plant.

Yeah curing effects the potency of course, but hes too late for that being that he said he already bought it, so its in its final process. So after that, theres nothing you can do to increase any potency as far as i know

If it is locally grown "dank" I will assume it comes to you relatively fresh with a high moisture content. In which case, proper curing of it for up to 3 months WILL INDEED increase the potency of it if it is well grown in the first place.I've gotten such product in the past and after just 2 weeks of additional cure time, it was nearly doubled in strength.
