Damaged and bent stem
This is only a 4 day old seedling grown indoors, and basically I accidently dropped a roll of duct tape on top of it and the stem was bent to a point where it won't stand up itself anymore. This happened about 20 minutes ago.
I stuck a pencil crayon in the soil and loosely tied the stem to the pencil crayon so that it at least stands up straight, I moved the soil inside the pot around so that it gives the stem a little more support and I also watered it really well. But I don't know what else to do since it's way too early to add nutrients.
Will it die? What can I expect to happen? Is there anything I can do? I'm a new grower so any tips will be helpful.
The red arrow points to where the bend is, if that makes much of a difference...

who knows? plant another seed just in case...it's only a 4 day old seedling and too small to tape up. you might try putting a couple rocks or something around it to prop it up while it repairs itself...don't add anything more than you already have or else you'll drown it. seedlings don't like muddy soil...and and it's too young to be adding ferts.

all you can really do is support the steam and keep it happy. No nutes. And hope
obviously move fans away from it. i'm sure you'll find out if it'll live or die within 12 hoursGreat website www.beansandbarley.com

Thanks for the advice guys, but it didn't make it.
I'll try again this spring though, I already have 14 seeds saved and I think an outdoor grow will be a better idea anyway.
