Aluminum bad?

Before I got Jeffy the Roachmeister(my bowl who i love so much) I used foil, pen, duct tape, and a water bottle all the time. I never really tasted the foil, and I'm fine now.

The pen piece is the worst part about that, don't use plastic.

To make a pen-less stem and bowl, just take aluinum foil, make a hollow tube, and then flange it a bit at the top to make a bowl- if you make the hole small enough, you don't need a screen. I have never used screens in my bowls, bongs, pipes, ect, and I've never had any issue with weed falling through the holes, so it's personal discretion.
