The way your friend desribed growing will work for about 2 or 3 weeks, then the plant will require food and proper lighting. If no food is provided, there is a good chance it will die from starvation, aka. a defiency.

After the first 2 or 3 weeks of life, a plant will require food for the stage it is now entering, called the Vegetative stage. There are 3 sets of numbers on a container of ferts., they stand for N-P-K. For vegging, the plant will need something high in N (Nitrogen). Without it, again, it may die from starvation.

I would worry about that stage right now. Germinate the seeds by placing them inbetween layers of wet paper towel. Place is a warmish, dark area, and keep the paper towels wet at all times. Do not let it dry out. Once the seed has a taproot about an inch long, you can now plant in soil. Again, keep that soil moist at all times until you see the plant first pop.

Get to the stage where the plant first pops through the soil, then go onto the next stage.

You will need proper lighting or you will get nada. Put it outdoors and let mother nature do its thing, but if you're like me, winter is starting and indoors is ideal. Keep the light on for 18hrs, then 6hrs off.

That sounds soo confusing lol so basically im doing what you said with the wet towel now, as you said keep it wet at all times so tomorow im guessing it would of dried up a little bit so do i take the seed out for a min while i go and wet it again under the sink??

I seriously know nothing about growing but theres no harm im trying lol i suppose i can only get better not worse.

So if i do that and then plant it and just leave it by the window and water it after 2-3 weeks it will definately die??

Also, the strain i think is female (red hair its called something like that, ever heard of it?? :s)
