To me, a drug is anything used to change the way the body normaly operates. This is a very broad definition, and therefore includes weed. It however also includes things like cafeine and many other common things that people don't normaly think of as drugs.

That's right! There are many thing in life that are not considered a "drug" is Alcohol a drug? OF COURSE. is Tobacco a drug? YES. Drugs can be both good and bad. This is often where the misunderstanding comes in, never did i think that so many people actually believe Cannabis is NOT a drug.

you know what...i voted yes because drugs are defined as something that alters your body's chemistry, but the comparison you made with tea made me wish i could vote no.

Accept the fact that THC is a drug, in marijauna, and im sure none of you are taking the THC out of it then smoking the plant on its own.

But who said that drug's are always negative. Most people just have the perception that any "drug" is bad, because of the negative impact some drugs (cocaine/meth/crack) have caused addiction and ruined lives. Thats whats different, Marijauna is fine in that way..

I am so sick of people saying weed isn't a drug, IT IS A FUCKING DRUG! Saying it isnt is just you re-assuring yourself you are not a drug user, YOU ARE A DRUG USER, but you are a sensible one.
