Blunts - To Filter or Not to Filter - That is the question
none of my friend use roaches, but i do when i roll because i find theres always some asshole whos slobs all over the end of the blunt, making it impossible to pull on it with out almost making yourself passout. just makes it easier imo

Blunts - To Filter or Not to Filter - That is the question
I never use a roach on blunts, but I do fold the paper over to double it up before I roll it. Check out Bluntology 101 in my signature for pics. If you double the paper up at the tip it helps keep it from being a salad shooter and also stiffens it up so it always stays open. :rasta:

A properly rolled blunt should require no filter. A trick for the novice is to buy a cheap cigar cutter from a tobacco shop for a couple bucks. Cuts nice, flat ends that hit well.

Blunts - To Filter or Not to Filter - That is the question
jus wanted to thank everyone for they responses. More responses / opinions are still extremely welcomed, but I just wanted to take this oppertunity to thank all those who responded to my question. All of your advice was well taken. As for now i like rolling with a roach/filter (jus a piece of cardboard not a real filter like some of u guys took it as), but I continue to explore and stay inventive with my rolling so maybe my preference will evolve. Peace and Love :rasta:

A roach [Piece of rolled up card] imporves a joint 100 fold. The hit is bigger, smoother and you dont waste any weed.
Although, as for blunts, i dont put one in.
But if were going to talk about this subject, can we all call it a roach, and not a filter, as a filter is found on a cig, and a roach doesnt filter anything

it's just the truth. filters fuck with the taste, and end up wasting a small amount of thc. I just use a solid little chunk of bud at the end, and smoke it right, so im left with a little highly resinated mininugget.
