not exactly ... over-watering produces almost the same appearance as under-watering ... it droops, loses vigor, leaves yellow ... it's a little tricky ... ( I have over-watered for years ! ) ... stick your finger into the soil a couple inches, and feel the moisture, then lift the pot, the weight difference is very different between wet and dry pots ... :smokin:
