Those are buck eyes we use to throw those like rocks as kids. chesnuts are lighter in color. these nuts are dark and bitter, the squirrels don`t even eat these nuts because they are poisinous

Someone told me that these things will grow into trees! - WoW, I'm gonna have these in my garden - maybe five or so, I have the space. what do you think they are? wanna post some pictures of strange seeds?
