Holland/Amsterdam?!? Anyone been/live there?! have questions

Ok, first of all have any of you been there?

Me and one of my best buds, and another friend, might have the chance to go there next summer, so I have a few questions for you guys :stoned:

OK, first of all, is there shops that are actually just for tokin, or there are coffee shops which people occasionally smoke in? Whats it like..

Also the drinking age is 16, which is great (I'm 16 now, will beprobably 17 when I go)

I can just go into a bar and buy some beer.

Also how much is weed/booze there approx?

If anyone can help me out (possibly someone living there?)

you have to be 18 to smoke there, they can be pretty strict at times but if you look around 18 and dont act like a dick you'll probably be fine.

Coffeeshops are like normal coffeeshops only you can buy weed at the bar (and the decor is normally really cool!). Your not supposed to smoke on the streets or in open public places, but it's pretty open in the coffeeshops... you can sit outside the shops and smoke.

Thats right you have to be 18,but as long as you look it youll be ok.but when you go make sure you visit the greenhouse.delightfull range of smoke.

And as for beer, im guessing it will be simmilar prices to the rest of europe. i.e. a couple of £/$/Euro for a pint :stoned:

There are coffeeshops made just for tokin. When you buy herb at a coffeeshop, the only place you're allowed to smoke it is inside your home, or in the cafe. You can't roll up a huge coner and walk down the street puffing that shit. Cannabis isn't 100% legal there, it's just highly tolerated. It's just like a bar, but for weed. Most shops have a menu above of the diff. kinds of cannabis/hash, and a price list. You choose your smoke, they give it to you, you oay, and you either go home and smoke it, or you sit down at your table inside the shop and smoke it.

Legal age there is 18, not 16, but like some people said, if you look of age, you might not get ID'ed.

Personally, I'd wait until I was legal age. You'd hate to go over there all excited and shit with buddies who are of age and not being able to take part in the fun the real way. You might not get a seat at a cafe if you are not of age, and possibly if someone in the shop sees your of age buddy buy reefer then leave with you, they could get in trouble as well.

I'd just wait. You have your whole lifetime ahead of you. Why go when you can't even take part in the fun?
