would probably leave out the vermiculite on your next attempt while your humidity is very low you could start them in a propagation tray and mist the dome to get the humidty levels up and transplant in a pot when they are 2-3 weeks old.
would say that the seedlings never developed a good root system for some reason possibly due to the vermiculate wich doesnt help drainage any, if you fed them some superthrive or cloning solution or other root stimulant its possible 1 or 2 of them could possibly come out of it and start growing.
bejay Reviewed by bejay on . what happened to my babies??? alright. i have 3 seedlings, well they are almost 3 weeks now but they still look like seedlings. all of them look like crap but two of them are worse than the other. a little background. im using cfls (i got the right kind, enough watts and kept them within an inch or two all the time) in a closet grow. they are on an 18/6 schedule. i have ocean forest soil with 30% perlite and 20% vermiculite. ive only used distilled water so far. they are in peat pots. i watered every 2 or 3 days.
