I used to vacation in korea several years back and like someone said you can get some seedy crap there but it beats what he is faceing. If i was in his shoes i would if possible get out of country and don't return. Never should anyone buy or do any illegal drugs or try to smuggle drugs. I traveled all over asia and some asian countries weed is very cheap and easily found but if your caught you will do time unless its in one of those corrupt areas like thailand or the philippines where you can fork over some cash to the cops and walk but korea and japan will not tollerate drug use and especially from a U.S. citizen. Its terrible he might do serious jail time for such a minor offence but anyone who reads this should learn from his mistake. Its bad enough if you get caught trying to smuggle small amounts in the US so you can imagine not haveing any rights and being busted will be like.

Somehow the Korean government found out and he is now in prison. His family hasnt been able to talk to him we have no idea what is going to happen to him. Do you guys have any clue what the penalty is for this and how long he will be stuck in Korean prison? Rating: 5
