You can plant it in good potting soil with perlite. I assume you are talking about grow rocks and they are used in hydroponics. You can make a DWC bubbler too and then keep it in the grow rocks. It would grow faster in a DWC bubbler but if you are a first timmer then I suggest dirt.
Zandor Reviewed by Zandor on . Rocks? I bought a clone that is being grown in those brown rocks. I was told just water when needed, but when I do the water just goes right through it. Are the rocks retaining moisture? I'm still a newbie grower, and have only used soil as a medium. Rating: 5
