    heres a couple of pics of another split clone
    this crappy little fella nearly didnt make it but after 4 weeks its sprouted two heads
    again this was a tiny little shoot of a flowering plant
    hope it turns out like the last:rasta:

    There is a way to trim called FIM, stands for Fuck I Missed.

    You pinch of the top as normal but you leave 1/8 - 3/16 of plant material.

    Instead of trying to splint into 2 branches, it tries to repair this site. That promotes 3 tops instead of 2, and you can actually get anywhere from 3 - 8 depending on the genetics.

    Yea, someone (can't remember who atm), posted a link to a really good site with some really good info. I was a little confused with the "exact" way to FIM a plant until I ready the info on that site.

    In short, they say to take the top new-growth leaves (the ones that stand up straight before they get big and lay down) and separate them so that you can see the little "bud" growing out of between them. Then you take a pair of nail clippers and clip that bud. I dont know if it said to fully clip off that bud or to clip it in half. I'll try to look to find that link again cuz I want to save it also. Good info. Maybe she (I think it was a she) will post that info again or come tell us where it is.
