Is it time to take a Break from puffing?

Hi all- Ive been a faithful enjoyer and purveyor of weed for about 30 years. This is the problem.. I have developed bags under my eyes, I believe, from the thc clogging my tear ducts. If I quit puffing for a couple of days it starts to go away but I cannot help myself and start puffing again. Does anybody have any remedies for taking the puffiness and redness away without putting away the smoke? I have heard of silver nitrate but have not tried it. Help!!:stoned:

That's interesting. I have only half your experience so don't suffer with this.

Basics: Is it a recurring eye infection or similar, have you seen the doc?

Is it linked to red-eye from blood vessels when you are high? Or is it the smoke?

If the smoke is the problem then go buy a vaporizer right now! Try vaping pure thc and see how that works.

But for crying out loud don't give up! j/k

I can only recommend products like this : http://www.everyonedoesit.co.uk/onli...ProductID=3407

    You want something gentle.

I still recommend vaporizing - at least try it out I'm biased as I have a volcano

    Good luck

    No problem

Seriously though take a look at a vaporizer - it actually saves you weed - it goes much further. Pays for itself in the long run. You can even bake with the vaped weed and extract a little more thc.

    All without smoke.

Maybe try cooking with it to see if it has the same effect. It could be lots of things - and I'm no Doc

I would take a break if you can, A tollerance break for a couple weeks will be soo rewarding, man you be soo high again. Im currently taking a tollerance break right now and im on Day 11. I am exerising every day heavily which helps take your mind away from it plus it helps detox you much quicker.

I just picked up a volcano, got it used though for a really good price but it is well worth it. At one point I would never consider buying one untill I started using them at the clubs, I would say it is better then my PHX trinity which is hard for me to say but it gets me ripped and is soo clean.

hey everybody thanks for the info on the vaporizers but that doesnt seem to address my problem with the red baggy eyes. What I need is an eye cream or something like that maybe i think a volcano would be cool but does that take away the harshness of the weed?

A lot of times when I have baggy, red eyes, it's from allergies. I had that reaction when I smoked weed, and I have it in response to nearly every other sort of weed and grass, too. Just my wacky immune system.

A mild antihistamine will help the allergic reaction itself, easing some of the itching. You can use an anti-redness/anti-allergy eye drop to ease the actual eye-related itching. I have good luck with drops called Opthcon-A. Make sure you're well hydrated and drinking plenty of clear fluids so you're producing plenty of tears themselves and your body's not having a puffy response because it's desperate to hold onto fluid. And for the puffy eye bags themselves, several tried-and-true anti-puff remedies are cucumber slices, which are cool and soothing. Also cut-open sections of aloe vera plant, if you have one of those, are soothing and gentle. One of those cooling plastic gel-filled eye masks you put in the fridge is good. And camomile tea bags soaked in cool water and squeezed out before they're applied as compresses work great, too.
