Bodies lying in the streets

I was walking down Fifth Avenue in midtown Manhattan the other day and saw a man lying on the sidewalk, motionless, in front of a building. He could have been dead for all anybody knew, but was probably a homeless derelict or junkie. This scene is not an uncommon occurrence in many metropolitan areas.

Not long ago, somebody on this board, from England, said that she heard a rumor that there are dead bodies in the street of the U.S. I told her that you see them, but you don't know whether they are alive or not unless they move.

Maybe Patrick Bateman got to him.
