I've never read anything formal or clinical on the subject, but I've heard a lot of success stories from individual people about weed and colitis/Crohn's symptom relief. I also have heard many times over the years that hash is supposed to have very good effects on a troubled digestive system. I'm sure the THC acts on the stomach and bowels like it does in other areas--suppressing inflammation and easing pain.
