I think they all work great. anything realy worth going for is aeroponics, its not that much more difficult, non of them are if u can get a real understanding of what each one does imparticular. i personal like a drip and drain. roots are always wet but never submergeed.

What to use!!
well i use a 5 gal. bubble bucket and a 28qt. rubbermaid bubbler
i keep 2-12 inch air stones in each and love it
but ive used NFT before and have taken a real liking to those also....
if you understand the concept of NFT you can make one easy with some PVC pipe and a rubbermaid container and a water pump
hope it helps....
later buddy!!! =)

im hydroton rocks and flood and drain tanks filled with pots, allthe way. the versatility allows for removal rotation of plants, and is very good comercial set up. controlls real easy, and makes massive crops!
root in hydro straight into the hydroton in a rain forest cloner, plant in pot and move to the grow room tanks, later remove in the same pots and take to the flower chamber! the water or solution in the large flood tanks is sprayed in under high presure, making a massive airation rate in the root tank, which always has 1 inch min in reserve to keep those roots healthy that are growing out of all the pots into the system under and around the pots,

Me I like DWC because of the ease of use all you have to do is change the water and nutes a couple times each week and add water when low. But Im looking at buy one of aero mist systems and trying that for a while to see if I like it.

have been using ebb and flow for 8 years and luv it. Partner made it so I can wheel the unit out to the patio door, drain it and refill then roll it back in the grow room. Piece of cake.
