I had that feeling for about six months after that biitch in The Ring freaked me out. I began thinking there was en evil spirit in my hallway, that maybe someone had died in my apartment previously, and stuff.

Then I pulled myself together and started reminding myself that i don't believe in God, the devil or ghosts, and I got over it.

Heh, when I was little, my sister talked me into playing with our Ouija board. She asked it some yes/no question and it started moving toward the 'yes'. I started tugging it toward the 'no'. As the forces pulling it toward both the 'yes' and the 'no' increased, me and my sister realized we were just playing tug-o-war.

I used to be scared of 'the monster under the bed'. I always told myself there wasn't really one there, and I even tried to believe that. Even so, when it'd come time to go to bed, I'd LEAP onto the bed from eight or ten feet, and clamber under my blanket immediately...just in case. Fortunately, the fucker never got me!

Ever see that movie "The Shining" Dro? It's got some great hallway scenes.

Anyhow, I believe in ghosts. When I was little I lived in this little town in Massachusetts. Not too far from my house was this place that everyone called "the haunted house". Actually, it wasn't a house at all, just the foundation of a place and the chimney, tucked back into the woods and all overgrown. The story was that some crazy old man had lived there like 50 years before. One night he was drinking moonshine and tossed a 1/2 full bottle into the fire. The bottle exploded and burned the house down, killing the old man.

One day me and my friend rode our bikes over there, left them by the side of the road, and started walking up the trail towards the place. When we were almost there we both saw what looked kind of like yellowish smoke, but kind of in the shape of a man. Needless to say we didn't stick around long enough to determine exacty what it was. Who knows? Maybe some older kids were partying up there and it was just a big bong hit that someone had blown out. But to this day, I still wonder if I didn't really see a ghost.
