Ordering Seeds-story

So the last time I was growing (a few years back), my roomate and I decided to order seeds from Dutch Passion, as they advertised utilizing the "lastest in secure mailing techniques". So we blissfully sent off our order and waited anxiously for our ten feminized Skunk Passion seeds. A few weeks passed, and finally a package from Amsterdam arrived. Joy! We tore into it to find a CD case containing an unburned CD labeled "Relaxation and Meditation". Underneath the CD tray was our packet of seeds, or at least the packet that had contained our seeds! Underneath that was a form letter from US customs stating that they had found illegal materials inside our package and they had been impounded. And something about contacting someone about challenging the seizure. Fuck that noise, right?

So about two days passed, and my roomate and I were fuming. Dutch Passion after all, had promised the "latest in secure mailing techniques". So my roomate decided to write them a letter, explaining what happened, and sent the entire package to them, including the letter and five bucks for shipping. Another couple weeks passed, and lo - a letter! This one appeared to have been mailed from a random mailbox in Amsterdam, and was labeled "Pictures - Do Not Bend". After exchanging confused looks, we tore it open and found a couple notecards bound together with a black binder clip that went the entire length of the cards. But it was taped to the cards.... Inside the clip were two baggies, on labeled Skunk Passion, and one labeled Skunk #1! We were flabbergasted!

By letting them know that their "secure mailing techniques" weren't so secure, they rewarded us by doubling our order, and our crop! Never underestimate the power of complaining to the company, even if you are buying cannabis seeds! And don't worry too much about customs, it seems that this is a pretty common practice, considering we never heard anything about it, and they had been mailed to my roomate's name at a friend's house.

Hello,

The same has happened to me when using Seedsdirect. I sent out for a couple packs or Rez's Mindfuck.

I sent out my order and about a week later I get a conformation e-mail saying "heads up". So I wait, and I wait, and I wait. Nothing.

Then out of the blue one day here comes my package, when I opened it up there was the green customs form.

I got online and contacted them (seedsdirect). They told me to just send them the customs form and they would replace my order.

A total of 12 days later, there were my two packs of mindfuck, one pack of freebie durban x skunk seeds (standard), and one pack of BOG's strain, L.S.D.

All in all, if you have the patience, it is almost better to have to go through the hassle of having your seeds siezed the first time around. LOL

How did you like the Skunk Pasion? Did the fems end up showing any male traits.

I have grown out Dutch Pasions Strawberry Cough (feminized). 10 seeds and not a single problem with any of 'em.

Might I suggest,that y'all don't describe by what method your seeds were sent-customs will add to their list of suspect packages to search,making it more difficult for all of us.

A. The Skunk Passion was outrageous, all ten sprouted females, all ten stank sooooo much we could barely mask the smell. They yielded really high too, A+ strain.

B. Granted, posting how they got here may tip off some nosey customs agent who happens to be poking around cannabis.com, but I wouldn't worry too much, besides, there are a lot of ways to get seeds into the country. I had some friends head over to the 'dam who picked up some seeds at Barney's Coffee Shop. They just wrapped them in a little bit of toilet paper for insulation, stuck em in an envelope and mailed them to a buddy in the states. They went through no problem and they are now in their fourth gen of clones in Humboldt.

And Torog, I assume by your very patriotic avatar and your anti-Kerry signature that you are a Bush backer. Why? Just curious why a person who frequents a cannabis forum would follow the man who vehemently insists that marijuana remains a schedule 1 narcotic, a miscategorization if there ever was one.

Im in the UK and when sombody sent me some seeds they just sent them in an envelope with no protection or anything! Then again they wud'nt have gone through customs, just the post. Anyway still abit risky.
